Get your diagnosis
Dr. Alfonso evaluates your case and presents your treatment plan. If surgery is appropriate, you have your pre-operative tests done and we schedule the date.

Clínica Lumos is located in downtown Viña del Mar, at 10 Norte 875, and has the best technology and professionals in the field; everything is done with a safe, medical approach.
Dr. Alfonso welcomes patients from all over Chile for evaluations for hair transplant, FUE hair implant, eyebrow transplants, beard transplant and LipoVaser and LipoLaser in Viña del Mar. We have an operating room authorized by the SEREMI de Salud.
Before your evaluation
Does the evaluation have a cost?
The in-person evaluation with Dr. Alfonso has a fee. It is a personalized consultation where you will learn your diagnosis and the most suitable treatment for your case.
Can I have the evaluation online?
Yes. We offer in-person evaluations at our clinic in Viña del Mar and video consultations for patients from other cities in Chile.
How long does the evaluation take?
Approximately 30 to 45 minutes. Dr. Alfonso reviews your case, answers your questions and explains the procedure step by step.
What should I bring to the evaluation?
If it is for a hair transplant, just come with clean hair. No prior tests are required for the first consultation.
How soon afterwards can I have surgery?
Once the evaluation is done, the surgery is scheduled according to your availability. Pre-operative tests can be done directly at Clínica Lumos.
Do you see patients from Santiago and other regions?
Yes, we welcome patients from all over Chile: Santiago, Concepción, La Serena, Talca and other cities. We offer a prior online evaluation so you only travel when you are ready for surgery. See how we organize it for patients from Santiago, from other regions and of the Valparaíso Region.

What is evaluated in the LipoVaser or LipoLaser consultation?
Medical history (health history, medications, allergies and background), skin evaluation (laxity and quality in the areas to be treated, which influences the technique), BMI measurement to confirm you are in a safe range for surgery, and a general medical exam.
